Lane Davies - Artistic Director
Mr. Davies was the original "Mason Capwell" on NBC’s Santa Barbara, an international hit which has now played in over 53 countries worldwide, and recently completed work on the film Steam, and the comedy pilot, Dixie Melodie. Other credits include starring roles in four prime-time series, Good & Evil, The Mommies, Woops! and The Crew. He appeared regularly as the psychopathic time-traveler "Tempus" on Lois & Clark - The New Adventures of Superman, recurred on 3rd Rock from the Sun as "Chancellor Duncan," on The Practice as "Kyle Barrett" and most recently on Scrubs as Elliot’s dad, "Dr. Simon Reid." Television credits also include seven pilots and some 50 guest-star appearances, including such shows as Seinfeld, Working, The Nanny, Ellen, Jesse, Coach, Major Dad, Clueless, Married With Children, and Just Shoot Me. During 30 years as a stage actor, Lane performed such roles as Hamlet, Macbeth, Petruchio, Henry V, King Lear, Shylock, Richard III, Cyrano de Bergerac, and the King of the 2008 R.C.Cola and Moon Pie Festival, in companies from San Diego to Providence, Rhode Island. He recently directed Tennessee Repertory Theatre’s production of The Underpants, and appeared there last year as John Barrymore in I Hate Hamlet. He has worked as a consultant, writer and producer for Walt Disney Attractions on projects for Tokyo Disney Sea and EuroDisney. As Artistic Director for the Santa Susana Repertory Company, a professional resident theater company in Ventura County, Lane has produced and/or directed over 30 productions and guided the company from its inception. He also founded the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival in Thousand Oaks, now in its 12th season and was its Co-Artistic Director until 2006. He holds a degree in Speech and Theatre from MTSU, where he studied under Dorothe Tucker, Lane Boutwell, and Clay Hawes.
 
René D. Copeland - Associate Artistic Director
Ms. Copeland is Tennessee Repertory Theatre’s Producing Artistic Director and holds a MFA in Acting and Directing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a BFA from the University of Montevallo. Since she joined Tennessee Rep in 2004, she has directed such favorites for Tennessee Rep as Doubt, The Goat or, Who is Sylvia?, Noises Off,   The Crucible, Speed-the-Plow, Intimate Apparel, 1776, Recent Tragic Events, Oleanna and I Hate Hamlet. Before joining the staff of Tennessee Rep she completed a decade as Associate Artistic Director for Mockingbird Theatre. Her association with Mockingbird began with its first show, Becket, which she co-directed with company founder David Alford, and she eventually directed a majority of Mockingbird’s productions, including Of Mice and Men, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Glass Menagerie, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, Hamlet (co-directed with David Alford), The Night of the Iguana, and A Southern Christmas Sampler. She has directed for virtually every theatrical organization in Nashville, including Nashville Children’s Theatre, Nashville Shakespeare Festival, and Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theater and has extensive acting and teaching experience on the professional, collegiate, and high school levels, including Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts. She and her husband, Scot, have two sons and live in Madison.

Jenny Hunt - Marketing Director
Ms. Hunt, a long time community leader in Bedford County, earned her BS in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Auburn University.  Before moving to Bedford County in 1994, she was employed in marketing in Atlanta and Charlotte, N.C.  Ms Hunt has served as Publicity Chairman for the 2007 Bedford County Bicentennial Celebration, and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Bedford County Parks and Recreation Foundation.  In Bell Buckle, Ms. Hunt is currently a Town Alderman, Chairman of the Park and Recreation Committee, and serves on the Tree Board Committee, as well as the Chamber of Commerce.  She is actively involved in The Webb School, where she is currently a member of the Board of Trustees and Treasurer of the Parents' Association.  In 2007, she was honored with the Second Place Keep Tennessee Beautiful Volunteer of the Year Award, as well as the Leadership Award, presented by the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce.  Ms. Hunt and her husband have two daughters and reside in Bell Buckle.
 
Jonathan Waldrop - Ticketing
Jonathan Waldrop (Webb '02) has accepted a full-time, year-round position as the new Marketing, Ticketing and Constituent Relations Coordinator for The Webb School community. Jonathan will assist with events related to Alumni, Parents, Faculty, Residential Life, Student Affairs, and will work with the representatives from local organizations to market our events, facilities and various programs. Jonathan will be a one stop shop for facilitating the packaging, promotion, ticket sales and will call requirements of your event. Jonathan is a 2006 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where he majored in Electronic Media Production and where he has served most recently in the MTSU Athletic Ticket Office as an Athletic Ticket Assistant. His experience includes athletic ticketing and daily over the counter, as well as phone ordering, assisted in the sale and distribution of tickets for concerts, theater productions, and non-athletic MTSU events, built and maintained accounts in a computerized ticketing system, supervised box office staff for athletic events, maintained student payroll records, prepared cash sheets and gate money for event staff and provided customer service for ticket clients, athletic department, and high donors. Jonathan begins work at Webb on Monday, May 26, 2008. He'll be working closely with the festival.
