In the rolling hills of middle Tennessee lies the tiny town of historic Bell Buckle known for decades for its popular festivals, antiques, arts/crafts, music, and great food. And now the little town is bringing the Bard to Bell Buckle.

Actor-director Lane Davies is producing the
extravaganza for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on the
campus of The Webb School in Bell Buckle. The
festival will be an alliance of artistic,
educational and civic entities from the Middle
Tennessee area. Though purely Shakespeare, there
will be some twists in scene and accent that will
surprise and entertain even the savviest
Shakespearian. |

| Rather than the typical Athens, Greece setting,
this "Midsummer Night's Dream" will be set in
Athens, Georgia. Fairies will actually be
ghosts of the Confederate past. And Shakespeare
performed with an exaggerated southern accent is
something no one will want to miss! It's Shakespeare
Bell Buckle style! |

| The event will take place June 27th, 28th and
29th, and July 4th, 5th. and 6th. Picnic grounds
open at 6pm with the performance starting at 8pm
nightly. Tent seating will be available as
well as ground seating for those perferring to bring
a blanket. Tickets are $10 in advance, $5 for
ground seating, or $15 at the gate with children
under 12 free. The BelL Buckle Cafe will be on
site offering a variety of their down home style
country cooking for picnicking. Tickets may be
